The "Midnight in Bucharest" illustration is close to my heart, as Bucharest is the city where I was born and grew up. It brings back memories, places of childhood, family stories, and friends.
Bucharest is home to many beautiful Neo-Romanian houses, a style that emerged in the late 19th century. Other iconic buildings of Bucharest, the Romanian Athenaeum, the CEC Palace, and the vibrant old town make an enchanting evening walk that leads to Calea Victoriei. This beautiful boulevard gets its magic at night when the lights turn on, and the history comes to life.
