I drew the "Surfing in Denmark" illustration while I was traveling for three weeks in Denmark. I stayed there in a lovely wooden house with large windows, looking for inspiration and taking a break from the big cities.
I got inspired by the western part of the country where people go surfing at the Nordic Sea. Nature, seagulls, colorful wooden houses, beaches, and boats created such a whimsical atmosphere. All the little fishing towns with cute houses made me wish to live there for a while.
